Use this tool on the commmand line to calculate values for chmod. a permission in itself but rather can be used instead of x for the program chmod on a unix system. It applies execute permissions to directories regardless of their current permissions and applies execute permissions to a file which already has at least 1 execute permission bit.
The first digit = selects attributes for the set user ID (4) and set group ID (2) and save text image (1)S. The second digit = permissions for the user who owns the file.
