CD/DVD drive's tray is a rather fragile thing. It's easy to break it by ocassional pressure. Laptop computers are often taken from different sides, and it's easy to press the button on front of the optical button, eject its door and crash it accidently. Thus laptop computers require special protection for their optical devices to prevent crash of their tray. Laptop CD/DVD Guard provides the simplest but still very effective way for protecting CD/DVD drive of your notebook.
While designing Laptop CD/DVD Guard we have taken into account all pecularities of CD/DVD drives being installed on laptops. Unfortunately, CD/DVD drives on laptops can be closed only manually. But they still can be locked to prevent ocassional ejection of the optical drive's door. After locking the drive you can open in via Laptop CD/DVD Guard menu or using special "hot keys" (of course, you may choose what keys are the handiest ones for you). The utility will automatically unlock the drive when you open it with help of menu or hot key.
